Can ChatGPT guide you better in writing books?

Writing is stressful!
Finishing something within a guideline can be tough because it is nearly impossible to give a deadline to a creative process. So it sounded like a big help when OpenAI brought ChatGPT, the AI language model. What started as just steering conversations can now turn into something more as the AI is now capable of writing essays and going as far as even composing stories. But the question that stays in is is ChatGPT helpful when it comes to writing books? Can authors really be used to craft entire chapters and books? Let's find out.
Not a replacement for the human mind -
The first thing that every writer should understand thoroughly is that ChatGPT is not and should never be treated as a replacement for a human mind. Surely the AI language model can help authors generate ideas or even suggest phrases that would suit the plotline better. It can also help writers by suggesting sentences that suit their writing style better. But it cannot match human creativity, intuition, or insight. Writers need to understand that writing itself is a form of art, and no matter how hard it tries, an Artificial Intelligence like ChatGPT can never completely erase creativity and artistry.
Question of authenticity -
Writing an entire book by using ChatGPT is possible, no doubt, but there will be questions regarding the book's authenticity. Crafting an entire book by using content that was generated by a machine can lead to some serious questions about the authenticity and originality of the book. Taking help from the AI language model and getting suggestions for the sentences and phrases is acceptable but if it is used throughout the entire book, or even for the majority of it, it will lack the human touch. Something that compels readers to a book is to know about the unknown mind of the writer and how the author's creativity can give birth to an original storyline. When the book is written entirely by an AI, people will not feel as compelled to buy and read the book as it will not have that alluring complex human-mind impact.
The complexity of writing a book -
Even if you are a new writer who has never written a single book yet, you must know that writing a book is not about placing sentences and paragraphs together. Completing a book means the author needs to develop the storyline, and characters, and give them life, motive, and purpose. Writing a book means creating a cohesive and engaging narrative that compels the readers to jump from one chapter to the next. Writing a book also means developing a story that instantly draws the readers by creating tension or introducing a sense of wonder at every turn of the plot. While ChatGPT can surely guide in forming better phrases and sentences, it cannot yet guide the author to create a cohesive storyline or plot. This is still something that comes out of the creative process of an author.
Incorrect grammar -
One of the most important things about finishing a book is to present grammatically correct and formed sentences. Like most other AI tools, ChatGPT is still lacking in these as most of the written content that the AI language model has produced so far has been grammatically incorrect. This issue might be solved in the future, but at present, if you are taking help from ChatGPT to write an entire book, you have to check the content thoroughly and proofread it multiple times just to make sure that it is grammatically correct before sending it to the publisher. So if you have to go through all that trouble just to check if it is grammatically correct, then who knows about the storyline and the quality of the project!!
Issue of copyright -
If you take help from ChatGPT but use your own mind and creativity to write a book, you can still apply for the copyright. But, if the content is entirely written and composed by the AI language tool, then it cannot be copyrighted. As per the law, copyright is only applicable if the product is made by the creativity of the human brain.
Well, yes a lot of these mentioned statuses can change in the future but something that is never going to change is the fact that AI language models can never erase human brains and efforts. So take all the help you need from ChatGPT but writing a book would always require artistic vision and creativity only a real writer can produce.
